I would like to say to anyone who is buying, or upgrading there home audio system to go see what the market has to offer and then talk to Sound Waves Hifi… Sure it may seem a little off the wall to go to some ones house for a listening of the items you intend on buying…  THIS IS TO YOUR ADVANTAGE…  Sound Waves Hifi does not have 100k invested in engineering a room that can make anything sound great…. go to **           ** **   ** for that and take out a 2nd mortgage while your at it…. Sound Waves Hifi has real gear in a real room much like the one you have. So when it sounds GREAT at his Home you know it will at yours too.

  I heard about Sound Waves too late. I purchased my Marantz 8600 and 9600 player from **        ** all commission sales with used car lot pressure… I purchased my paradigm Studio 100’s and surrounds from **        ** in Bellevue… Awesome Stuff….but same scenario as **         **… Sound Waves has some AVS gear that will out do the Paradigm’s for the Same Money with no pressure….  If you don’t want to go that route, he has affordable build a system gear and packages that will blow away the competition once you see and listen to what you are getting…  Don’t buy a Home Theater In a Box…..So get your favorite DVDs DVD’ Audio’s or CD’s and set up a time to listen to all of his great products… James, I still want that Emotiva Set up I will be coming to see you again soon….

After owning my home for two years I finally decided to hide the speaker wires in my home and get rid of my large entertainment center that was front and center.  I came home every day and couldn’t stand looking at the wiring mess and finally decided to do something about it.  It’s a project I’ve wanted to do for so long, but after calling other installers and asking around the home theater stores in Seattle I was afraid that it was going to be a very costly and messy project.  Luckily for me, doing a google search I stumbled across Sound Waves HiFi’s website.  I called the number and got in touch with James who seemed quite knowledgeable and very helpful.  James was more than willing to work with my schedule and had his partner Aaron come out to do the bid that very same afternoon just a couple hours after I called!  Unlike a lot of installers around King county, these guys don’t charge to bid the job!

Aaron got to my home and we discussed the various options and we determined a plan that met my budget and wasn’t going to tear my house into pieces.  The best part is once again they were willing to work with my schedule and come out a couple days later in the evening.

The guys were at my home on time and went to work right away.  They are both very knowledgeable, quick and did a fantastic job!  Just a few short hours after they arrived, they were done and the project I’ve dreamed of having done for ages was a reality.  I can’t say enough good things about these guys!  They’re both extremely friendly, have a great sense of humor and are very reasonably priced for the quality of work they do.  In fact, I have them scheduled to come out next week to install my new projector and screen.

I will without a doubt recommend them to all of my friends and coworkers and anyone else I meet who needs the service they provide.  Without these guys I would still come home to my wiring mess.

I recently had the pleasure of dealing with Mr. James Vaughan of Sound Waves Hi-Fi in an effort to get my home theater space up and running.  And, I must say, it was a pleasure.
 
Not only did James provide outstanding value in the products we ultimately went with, but his install team was ‘aces’ in their knowledge and professionalism.  The job was done with absolute care.  I always had the feeling that my room was not just “some job” to them, but rather, they were working with diligent attention to detail as if they were setting up in their own home.
 
Prior to the install, James took some personal time to sit down with me to determine what hardware would fit best in my room using my budget and needs as guides.  So many people try to oversell you on something that isn’t necessary, and this was never a concern working with Mr. Vaughan.

Wanted to wait until I had fully set up and tested the system you sold me before sending you my opinion on the product.  I had not purchased stereo gear since the early 90’s, so this was a big step for me. 

Well, the results are nothing short of phenomenal.  Thanks to you, my house fell off it’s foundation.  Just kidding.  The bass is over the (you know what) top.  I put on “Terminator 3″ to test the thing.  OMG.  That’s when the structural damage started.  Then I played some audio, “Vegas” by Crystal Method.  More damage.  My neighbors hate me.  The system is an audio onslaught, thankfully I have control of the remotes.  But it gets better.  “LA Woman” by the Doors is so crisp.  So are Les McCann and Eddie Harris in “Swiss Movement” (those are both about thirty years old).  So, the bottom line is that I have a really great sound system for a really great price.  Thanks.
