RX-V3800 Differences
The RX-V1800 is a fantastic receiver but there are a few key differences that make the RX-V3800 really stand out. A Graphic User Interface makes controlling the 3800 a breeze with a color pictoral display instead of just text on a black background. You can hook up the RX-V3800 to a broadband internet connection for instant access to internet radio, share your PC music folders to access music content from up to four connected computers on your home theater system, and plug a flash drive into the front USB port for your own portable DJ. With an upgraded amplifier, the RX-V3800 will make any speakers sing. Even the Digital Sound Field (DSP) processing has been improved. Similar to the surround processing of the new flagship receiver, hook up a pair of presence speakers to reproduce the width and height of real venues around the world like the Roxy Theater and a concert hall in Vienna.
